Wolfpack Hustle's massive events are notorious for attracting professional cyclists to the inner city to race alongside younger rookie riders. Saturday's event in downtown Los Angeles was no exception.
The sanctioned race, which shut down the perimeter of city hall, presented the skills of thousands of cyclists ready to take home the title for fastest rider in the southland. In the end, first place track went to David Santos of Aventon, who astonished bystanders with a massive 20 second lead in the beginning of the race. Ash Duban took first place track in the women's category.
Second place track went to Justin Williams and third place went to Rahssan Bahati. In the women's category, Jo Celso and Nissy Cobb took the second and third place honors.
The road bike race proved to be an Aventon victory, with riders Rahsaan Bahati and David Santos taking first and second place. Third place went to Andrew Hemmesath of State Bicycle Co.
